Black Cottonwood: the highly medicinal parts of the plant are the sticky leaf buds and inner bark that are collected from mid-winter to early spring. The healing energy of these trees are transferred to the buds during this time of year, so it is important that they are ethically harvested so to leave plenty of energy stores with the tree - only a few buds should be collected from each individual. The Pacific Northwest Native Salish named the cottonwoods "The Tree of Life" for its strong anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and anti-fungal medicine. This medicine can be used daily on the skin to heal a large variety of skin problems, and also makes a wonderful wound and burn healing cream or salve. The aroma of cottonwood buds are truly intoxicating and have also been used as a "healing perfume."

Avocado: Avocado: is high in vitamins A and E, working synergistically to improve the skin's tone and texture, which then also promotes natural collagen production. This oil is cold pressed from avocado flesh, which is an emollient and a highly penetrating oil.

Sunflower: is high in vitamins A, D and E, as well as oleic acids, making it deeply nourishing and healing to damaged, dry, weathered and aged skin.

Beeswax: from local Pacific Northwest bees is pure, filtered and moisturizing for all skin types, including those with skin sensitivities.
