Digest & Dream Tea is created with a variety of herbs from the mint family to help improve digestion, as well as kava, passionflower and chamomile to promote rest and relaxation, and to reduce any pain or discomfort associated with digestive issues. With the addition of lemongrass and further benefits of this herbal combination, this tea is also full of vitamins and minerals, can work to regulate blood pressure, reduce stress, anxiety, pain and digestive discomfort.

Peppermint/spearmint: has been used as far back as 10,000 plus years for digestive support, according to archaeological evidence. It helps move gas through the body before cramping or bloating can occur while also stimulating bile flow to promote efficient digestion and bowel movements. Those with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), diarrhea or constipation can find great relieve with regular use of peppermint or spearmint teas. Peppermint also helps to wake up the nervous system, aiding in better functioning. 

Kava: is used to reduce pain, symptoms associated with urethritis, arthritis, and skin inflammation. This root is also used to treat anxiety without dulling the senses, and leaves one with the feeling of enhanced well-being. It brings out exaltation of the mind, diverts attention away from pain and discomfort, is healing to painful conditions of the bones, promotes restful sleep without drowsiness, and generally is known to heal depression of the mind, body and spirit.

Passionflower: is used to treat insomnia, especially caused from a restless mind by physically reducing neurotransmitters that cause excitatory thought responses, thus reducing overall anxiety-induced restlessness. This herb is also good for digestion, helping to relieve upset stomach, in part due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) abilities. Passionflower has also been shown to help regulate blood pressure.

Lemongrass: is a highly nutritional herb, with vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folate and vitamin C. It is also mineral rich, containing magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc, iron, manganese, and potassium... all of which are essential to the healthy functioning of the body. Lemongrass is full of antioxidants, helps to regulate cholesterol levels, is generally heart healthy, and maintains healthy digestion while also helping the body to rid itself of toxins through the urinary system. 

Catmint: also known as catnip, thought stimulating for our feline friends, is very relaxing to the human body and often used as a sleep aid for both children and adults. Catmint is also used to help settle upset stomach, relieve painful gas and gently remedy constipation and bloating. This herb is also useful in soothing arthritis pain, menstrual cramps and headache. 

Chamomile: is one of the more gently soothing and anxiety relieving herbs known to us, and has a positive effect on mood for both adults and children that may be prone to emotional and stress-based meltdowns. 

Lemon peel: is high in vitamin C and effective at warding off cold and flu. It is taken as a preventative measure for infection, circulatory issues and arteriosclerosis. Lemon is also effective at killing germs and is generally antiseptic, anti-rheumatic, antibacterial, antioxidant and has the ability to cleanse the lymphatic system.
