Hawthorn berry, leaf & flower: has an affinity for the physical and emotional heart, increases blood flow to the heart muscles restoring normal heart beat, is an excellent tonic, and is literally food for the heart and soul. Studies have shown hawthorn to be effective at treating people with chest pain/angina from low blood flow to the heart, as well as heart failure where the heart was unable to pump blood to other organs. These are serious heart conditions and we do not suggest using hawthorn to treat such serious health issues, but we share this with you to not that hawthorn is well studied. We know that it is fantastic at protecting against heart disease, controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increasing coronary blood flow and greatly improves overall circulation. Additionally, hawthorn is supportive of the lungs and respiratory system, especially in cases of asthma or grief.

Nettle: the leaves contain iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, and so much more. The greens are used to treat poor circulation, as an anti-inflammatory, and as support for the urinary tract. The roots nourish the skin and have been known to remedy eczema. Nettle is also known for blocking histamine and boosting the immune system, making it effective at both relieving allergy symptoms as well as being anti-allergy.

Tulsi: also known as holy basil soothes anger by encouraging feelings of love. It is thought to simultaneously stimulate the heart and sacral Chakras, thus harmonizing emotions while releasing sexual energies. Tulsi contains eugenol, and antioxidant that is considered heart disease protective as well as blood-cholesterol reducing. This herb is also anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, can be beneficial in cases of obesity, and is a fantastic reparatory remedy.

Raw, local honey: raw honey is medicine in of itself and is considered the oldest known food to mankind, being regularly gathered even before the cultivation of land. Honey is synonymous with happiness and fulfillment, and is added to food and drink to emphasize a good mood. It is often used to treat indigestion, headache, to sooth sore throats, boost the immune system, inhibit violent coughing, and suppressing the onset of cold and flu. This nectar is sacred to many gods, especially earth goddess Demeter and the Egyptian sun god Ra.

Raw apple cider vinegar: the fiery energy of oxymels comes from the vinegar. Raw vinegars help to break up mucus throughout the body, enabling the lymph system to be cleansed, as well as a reduction in sinus congestion, allergy symptoms, sore throats and headaches.
